Gary's dream vacation to experience life as a high school senior during her senior prom became a nightmare. Gary did indeed experience life as a teenage girl in the 1950s, but his body and mind didn't adjust to his new reality. Everyone treated him as a young lady, but he looked and acted like a middle-aged man.
Instead of spending prom night dancing in some ballroom, he spent it in an insane asylum being force-fed psychotropic drugs.
